I am still dancing in my head (and occasionally when I walk down the street) following our annual team building weekend away in Ibiza. This year was perfectly timed to coincide with Fat Boy Slim ‘praising us like he should’ at Pacha, followed by the Sunday season closing party at Blue Marlin. At the latter we managed to catch up with the lovely Mattia and Luca to talk through the plans to bring a Blue Marlin pop up to Novikov every other Saturday from this autumn. Dancers, DJs, drinks and dishes from Blue Marlin will arrive at Novikov Mayfair from 14th November.

Although we danced both Saturday and Sunday, we also managed to meet up with some of our island-based clients. Jonjon Moon, who recently took over the running of the iconic Bambuddha from his father, couldn’t have been more hospitable, treating us all to a seemingly endless selection of sharing dishes from the restaurant’s award-winning menu. All I can say is if you’ve never tasted slow roasted lamb served with creamy polenta, shimeji mushrooms, cocoa crunch & Jack Daniels sauce, you don’t know what you’ve been missing. Finally a big thank you to the wonderful Celine who so generously allowed us to stay at her amazing property, Kava Kava.
